The Great Disney Adventure, Pt 1

Thanksgiving this year was quite the event. We flew to Florida, spent a day at Disney World Magic Kingdom and a day at Disney World Animal Kingdom before getting on a Disney Cruise Ship for the rest of the week. It was fun, exciting and exhausting. :)

Luckily I was able to borrow this great baby carrier from a friend. I couldn't believe how much I used it. Nora loved it too. :) The air travel wasn't too bad there, Nora and Ainsley were entertained pretty well. Nora didn't sleep at all, and a 1.5 yr old with no nap isn't much fun but she didn't throw any huge fits on the plane, so I'll take what I can get. :)

Okay... So post 1 - THE MAGIC KINGDOM
We played zone defense here, with Tom covering Ainsley while I watched Nora. Tom and Ains went on some rides that lil Nora couldn't do and Curly Sue and I walked around and saw the sights.
Nora's favorite part of Disney World was a little play area they had next to splash mountain. She and her cousins Luke and Evan had blast going down the little slide while their older siblings were off on roller coasters. :)

Not that Nora didn't ride any rides. The line for Dumbo was an hour long, so that wasn't going to happen, but we did get on the carousel. And here she is, patiently waiting in line.
They don't look super excited.. but they were..
this was just the one picture I have of this that's in focus and they are both looking. :)

My favorite part of going to Disney Parks isn't the rides anyway, I love all you can see. Cinderella's castle still makes me smile. And running into Characters throughout the park is the number one reason I want to go. Here's us watching a big production they did in front of the castle with all the princesses, Minnie, Mickey, Donald, etc.. That's the kind of stuff I love.

Me and My Honey, at the happiest place on Earth :)
And here I leave you with a video of the Three Musketeers, Ains, Jake and Ella, dancing their way out of the park.

Wow..amazing Ains and the others had that much energy at the end of the day! Looks like a fun trip. I always love taking my kids to dizzyland--it's even more fun when they are older :)
