Wheeler Farm

Yesterday I met up with some friends at the Historic Wheeler Farm. I'd never been there before, but it's a was pretty fun. They had all kinds of animals, pigs, sheep, chickens, horses.. Ainsley loves animals, and usually breaks into laughter at the sight of them. However, most of the animals were pretty shy, so she didn't really notice a lot of them.

There was one horse however, who was hanging his head over the fence so we got to go right up and pet him. She loved it! She reached right out for him, and pet his nose. I love how fearless she is, I've never really seen her be afraid of anything.. well, except the bath for a little while, lol. I know soon I will not be so crazy of her fearlessness as she becomes more and more mobile and able to get away from me.. lol.

Ainsley also made a new friend. Kylie is almost 6 months old, and the cutest little chubbers, they shared a stroller for a while, until Ains started to love a little too vigorously on little Kylie. I just love Kylie's cheeks! You just wanna squeeze 'em all day!

That night after we got home, i noticed that I had gotten some sun, and Tom said he thought Ains cheeks were a bit red. I thought they were just rosy from eating, until tom noticed the sweet tan line she had on her head from her bow! Poor little girl, it's officially sun screen weather!

You girls are too lucky to live so close! Also, we just took the boys to Lied museum about a month ago! Didn't venture into the 18 mo and under section though.

Ouch look at that sunburn! Kylie's cheeks were pretty red when we got back too. I'm so glad Ains & Kylie could have some fun checking out the farm animals... I'm looking forward to when Kylie will actually be able to enjoy watching them. Cute pictures! That was so much fun! Tamara

Locke came home with a bit of sun too, although no headband tan line unfortunately. It was lots of fun!
