Fun Times!

Anybody who's spent any time with my little girl will tell you she's one of the happiest people you'll meet. :) She laughs and smiles and plays, and wins over everyone.. even random people we pass in stores. I love taking her places, I get so many comments on what a happy girl, and how lucky I am, and believe me, I know it

Ains was eating some goldfish the other day and had the cutest little look on her face, I had to capture it. :)

And while we're talking about eating, we had some great messy fun with some spaghetti the other day. She'd never had spaghetti before and I wasn't sure how she'd take it, but as you can clearly see, it was a great hit!

We had The Funnest Time yesterday, (we being Me, Kirty and the three Musketeers Quentin, Hallee & Ains) at this great play area we found in West Jordan. It had tons of great places to play with the western theme. I had never really taken Ains to the park before. It's been too cold until recently, and before that she was too little. So she went down the slide and in the swing for the first time. I wish I'd gotten a picture or better yet a video of her going down the slide. She actually cracked up laughing each time she went down the slide! It was so funny, I couldn't get over it. :) Well at least I got some of her in the swing :)

The craziest thing happened while we were walking around the play area, I looked up and a lady pushing someone on a swing looked kind of familiar. I glanced back and realized it was Kelly! For those of you who don't know, Kirty and I met as college roommates, and one of our other roommates was Kelly. :) We hadn't seen her in almost a year. She lives in Orem, and had never been to this play area before, but was there visiting her sister. We were all shocked and so happy to see each other. It was so nice to get together. The year we all lived together was the best we all had in college. Kelly and Kirty both met their future husbands that year and got married before the next school year started. It was such a fun time, I'll always love those girls.

Trouble Maker!

So life is starting to get a lot more interesting now that Ainsley is able to get herself around more. I'm so glad I already installed a gate at the top of the steps for Gavin's visit over Christmas. It's amazing how they can go from not able to get anywhere one day, to making it across the room before you even notice the next!

I opened the fridge and took something out, walked to the pantry turned around to get something else out of the fridge and this is what I saw...
I love the 'Who, me? Look on her face'

She's also harder to put to sleep now that she can sit up, and sometimes even stand. I'm not sure she realizes how to get back down after she gets up, especially standing.

Ainsley is also on her way to becoming a Pool Shark.. she just has to learn how to use the funny looking sticks, lol.

Random Collection

Here's some pictures i haven't posted, that i wanted to share.

In Vegas I went to the California Pizza Kitchen with Lavinia, Brooklyn and Kyle. While waiting for the food to come Ains got restless, so I gave her the lemon from my glass, she wasn't sure of this weird yellow thing.. but she kept tasting it, lol.

Kirty and her family gave us a ride home from Vegas since they were on their way home from Disneyland. It was quite the fun ride with an almost 5 yr old, 3 yr old and 10 month yr old, plus 3 tired adults, but I think we managed ok.

Hallee was nice enough to let Ainsley play with the 'Baby Belle' she'd gotten on the trip. Ains loved her, and played with her for almost an hour, just feeling the stitching on her face and the tag on her hair.

Here's a sight rarely seen anymore.. Ainsley sleeping in my arms. She only really falls asleep in her bed anymore. So it was nice to feel her small sweaty little body breathing next to me, and to see her cute rosy red cheeks.. oh how quickly flies a childhood..

I just think this is a cute picture, every now and then Ainsley puts her hands on her head... it's the cutest thing :)

And last, but not least.. a cute video i like to call CinderAinsley :)

Wheeler Farm

Yesterday I met up with some friends at the Historic Wheeler Farm. I'd never been there before, but it's a was pretty fun. They had all kinds of animals, pigs, sheep, chickens, horses.. Ainsley loves animals, and usually breaks into laughter at the sight of them. However, most of the animals were pretty shy, so she didn't really notice a lot of them.

There was one horse however, who was hanging his head over the fence so we got to go right up and pet him. She loved it! She reached right out for him, and pet his nose. I love how fearless she is, I've never really seen her be afraid of anything.. well, except the bath for a little while, lol. I know soon I will not be so crazy of her fearlessness as she becomes more and more mobile and able to get away from me.. lol.

Ainsley also made a new friend. Kylie is almost 6 months old, and the cutest little chubbers, they shared a stroller for a while, until Ains started to love a little too vigorously on little Kylie. I just love Kylie's cheeks! You just wanna squeeze 'em all day!

That night after we got home, i noticed that I had gotten some sun, and Tom said he thought Ains cheeks were a bit red. I thought they were just rosy from eating, until tom noticed the sweet tan line she had on her head from her bow! Poor little girl, it's officially sun screen weather!
