Well, we're getting ready for the baby, and one of the things we've done is had all our carpets cleaned. It was a fun crazy experience moving all of our furniture off of carpet. Basically everything we own was either in the kitchen, the bathroom or the laundry room. Tom did most of it, as Lavinia and Kirty keep telling me, i'm not supposed to do stuff like that anymore. (Those are the two people who insist on treating me like i'm made of porcelain)
And since we were working so hard to get the house clean and baby friendly, I thought i'd go ahead and get fred groomed again. He gets what's called a 'Lion Cut' where they shave him except for his head, feet and tip of his tail. We did it once a couple months ago to see if it would help Tom, (he's a little allergic, not too bad), and noticed it really cut down on all the cat hair shedding too. Plus Fred looks hilarious! Nice bonus, lol. So Fred was off being groomed at the same time the carpet guy came, so he sucked up all the old cat hair, and we brought home an almost hair free Fred. Maybe Stewart can even come hang out at our house now. ;)
Anyway, now we call him our Naked Fred. He doesn't seem to mind much, or even notice. Of course he hated being left at the groomers, but he's his old self once he gets home. I don't think he cooperated with the groomers very well, or maybe they just did a quick job, but it's not the best hair cut. Oh well, he takes after Tom and doesn't really care what he looks like.

Can I still be your friend even though I didn't go to your shower? Locke is still begging me to come say hi! He's even started being better about screaming all the time so he can come visit you!
